Burleigh or Miami? Start with the trip you’ll actually make.
A search for a Burleigh trainer can return a highway studio in Miami, a gym in Burleigh Waters or an appointment in Burleigh Heads. Those are useful choices, but they are different trips. Choose a place you can reach on an ordinary weekday, then compare the coaching.
Put the actual address ahead of the suburb label
My Train Station lists 1922 Gold Coast Highway in Miami. Sempre lists Goodlife at 4 Barwon Street in Burleigh Waters. Resolve is at Unit 7, 5 Taree Street in Burleigh Heads, while Movement Innovation lists Tallebudgera Creek Road. Mark the actual venue in your usual navigation app and check the journey at your intended training time. A provider saying it serves Burleigh does not necessarily mean its studio is beside the beach.
Choose the session before the setting
For private studio coaching, compare My Train Station and Resolve's published one-to-one offers. For a mix of formats, Sempre lists gym, home, online and group options. If the goal is learning striking skills, Skadi's Hutchinson Street gym lists individual and small-group Muay Thai, kickboxing and conditioning sessions. These are different services; being close by does not make them interchangeable.
Build the appointment around the rest of your day
If training sits between school drop-off and work, ask about the specific start time, session duration, parking and any shower access. If a home visit removes the trip, confirm the travel area, available training space and equipment the coach brings. For a gym-based arrangement, ask whether membership is payable separately. Compare the full door-to-door commitment alongside the quoted session.
Three useful questions for a first enquiry
Tell the provider the suburb you start from, the two times you could reliably attend and the type of coaching you want. Then ask: where exactly will I train; will I have the same coach; and what ongoing costs sit outside the session fee? Keep the first conversation practical. You can compare two clear answers more easily than two transformation promises.
